| From I-91 North or South |
- From I-91 take Route 9 (North - Exit 22) toward New Britain.
- Take Exit 24 (Route 372/71) off Route 9 (left-hand exit).
- Take immediate, first exit off 372 (Route 71 Kensington).
- Go left at the end of the exit and back over the highway to New Britain Road. Town hall is 1.4 miles on the right.
- About 2/3 of the way, at the intersection with Main Street (flashing light), the name of the road changes to Kensington Road (two banks are at this corner – Fleet and Webster).
- After this intersection, continue going straight past the Post Office; Town Hall is about 0.4 mile on the right.
- There is a monument sign at the end of a long drive that leads to Town Hall and the Library.
- Town Hall is the building on the left.

| From I-84 East or West |
- I–84 to exit 35; this will put you on Route 72 East toward New Britain.
- Take first exit to Corbin Avenue; go right at the end of the exit.
- Follow Corbin Avenue to the Berlin town line where the road forks, and take the left-hand fork (to Route 9 South - Berlin/Middletown).
- Proceed through a traffic light onto a four-lane highway (to Route 9).
- Take the first exit off the highway (½ mile, Route 71 - New Britain/Kensington).
- Go right at the end of the exit and Town Hall is 1.4 miles on the right.

| From I-691 East |
- I-691 East to the Route 71 exit in Meriden (near Meriden Square).
- Take a left at the end of the exit. Follow Route 71 to Berlin and Chamberlain Highway.
- After about 4 miles, the road will fork. Take the right-hand fork – staying on Route 71. This will now be Percival Avenue.
- Follow Percival Avenue 0.8 miles to a stop sign.
- Take a right onto Robbins Road.
- Follow Robbins Road to the end.
- Take a left onto Kensington Road.
- The Town Hall complex is about 200 yards on the left. There is a monument sign at the end of a long drive that leads to Town Hall and the Library.
- Town Hall is the building on the left.
